Tour de Romandie: Peter Sagan pushes again Sonny Colbrelli, Patrick Bevin to win the primary stage

Paris: Former world champion Peter Sagan received in a dash for the primary stage of the Tour de Romandie on Wednesday.

Driver Ineos Rohan Dennis managed to maintain the lead within the general standings he received in Tuesday’s prologue.

Sagan, for Bora-Hansgrohe, completed forward of Italian Sonny Colbrelli and New Zealander Patrick Bevin after a 168-kilometer race between Aigle and Martigny in Switzerland.

This week’s race marks Sagan’s return to motion after a break after the Tour of Flanders earlier this month.

The 31-year-old has contracted COVID-19[female[feminine in the beginning of the 12 months and struggled within the Spring Classics marketing campaign.

“It feels good after three weeks and not using a race to come back right here and win,” stated Sagan. “It was in all probability the one stage that suited me as a result of the next ones will probably be very tough.”
