An FBI spokesperson confirmed the investigation to Insider.

Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Deputies who have been attempting to arrest Brown for drug crimes shot and killed Brown on Wednesday morning. The sheriff’s workplace mentioned Brown was on the run when deputies shot him.

Attorneys for Brown’s household mentioned Monday that officers only showed them 20 seconds of bodycam footage of the shoot. Attorneys added that Brown’s arms have been on his steering wheel when MPs killed him.
