A North Carolina sheriff’s deputy was shot useless in a lockdown Monday afternoon, police mentioned.
Police in Boone, North Carolina, said on twitter that he was helping the Watauga County Sheriff’s Workplace in a “everlasting confrontation” scenario in a residential neighborhood.
The police division requested residents to shelter in place with their doors and windows closed.
The deputy who was shot was a member of the Watauga County Sheriff’s Workplace, WNCT reported. The member’s present standing is unknown.
