A 15-year-old boy who was shot useless by a classmate at a highschool in Pine Bluff, Arkansas died on Monday, his college district stated on Wednesday.

The Watson Chapel School District stated on Fb that Watson Chapel Junior Excessive Faculty scholar Daylon Burnett has died, citing the boy’s mom’s Fb web page.

The Pulaski County Coroner’s Workplace confirmed the boy’s demise to Affiliate CBS KTHV-TV.

Daylon spent two days in intensive care in Little Rock earlier than being pronounced useless, reported The Associated Press.

The alleged shooter was recognized by local station THV11 and the Arkansas Democrat Gazette like Thomas Quarles, a 15-year-old classmate from Daylon.

He’s at the moment being held on the Jefferson County Juvenile Detention Heart with a first-degree battery, THV11 reported.
